The Linyanti Game Reserve lies on the southern banks of the Linyanti River, acting as a natural boundary between Namibia and Botswana. This private reserve showcases stunning vistas of unspoiled grasslands, riverine forests, and winding lagoons. Unlike its neighboring reserves, Chobe National Park to the east and the Okavango Delta to the south, Linyanti remains delightfully unexploited, with an abundance of game to offer.
The remote location of this 1,250 sq km sanctuary ensures that every inch is teeming with wildlife, making it an excellent destination for animal lovers. Linyanti is a great destination with diverse bird and wildlife. The best time to visit is May to October when wildlife is concentrated around the river.
November to April is the Wet season and the ideal time for the zebra migration and bird watching. In November you can witness the zebra foaling in Savuti, and between February and April, they gather around Linyanti.
